Diabetics at Jamba Juice:

Eating good food at the right time can control your blood sugar, also stop you from craving wrong sort of food. Jamba Juice offers drinks in three separate sizes: 16, 24, and 32-ounce. You can choose the lowest serving size and cut down on sugars and calorie intake. If you're diabetic and concerned about the sugar intake, then you can opt for the smaller 9.5-ounce smoothies available for kids at Jamba Juice.

Foods to Avoid at Jamba Juice for Diabetics:

Jamba Juice is primarily known for its highly satisfying and nutritive smoothies and juices. Almost every smoothie and juice item on the Jamba Juice menu contains sugar. A know frills diner offering breakfast and lunch. I haven't ever had the lunch menu. But the breakfast is always simple and good. But the real reason to come here. The scones are my favorite thing here. Giant with honey butter greatness. That alone will keep me coming here.

The staff is very friendly here. It's a nice old timey feeling diner. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs and it was delicious. The chicken fried steak has a nice batter and seasoning. Great breakfast find.

I love breakfast food and this was just awesome!!! My mom took me here. Love these kind of establishments. Had the corn beef hash with over easy eggs and pancakes. Pancakes were light, fluffy and kind of crispy on top. Just perfect!!!

I've only been here once, but I can't imagine why they decided to close for dinner. Their home-style chicken fried steak is delicious, though the gravy had more sausage than I would prefer. And my potatoes were homemade, not instant like one reviewer complained. Unfortunately, it seemed our server really didn't want to be there and wasn't very attentive or cordial.

Best breakfast in the neighborhood! Great prices and excellent portion sizes. The food was delicious and for about $1.50 you can get a giant, scone with honey butter. The service was great. Our server Angela was attentive and even cracked a joke or two. Even the hostess was welcoming.

I really don't know how I let myself get talked into this -- no, wait, it's coming back to me. One of my group of friends knew a waitress there that he wanted to see and one night, after a few of us had seen some movie next door, we let ourselves get talked into going. I had misgivings just looking at the outside of the place (you'd be surprised at how often that will be meaningful) and once inside the foyer, I wanted to break through the door and flee through the parking lot screaming something about how they would never take me alive before breaking into incoherence and possibly running directly into some nettle bushes. That overly description vision I just related to you there seemed to me infinitely preferable than actually going in and dining. Sad to say, my worst fears were realized. I dallied over the menu for longer than necessary, marveling over the dinginess of it and finally asked him what, if anything, was good. He, predictably, did not know; he was only there for the chick, right? Our server, also predictably, was not her and wonder of wonders, she wasn't working that night, so we totally went all in and nailed that trifecta. The others were hungry, so we took a swing at an order. Of the four of us and this amounts to maybe 12 different food things, possibly a quarter of those were edible. Less than that was appetizing. It would have been one of the shortest dining experiences we'd had as a group, except the food took quite a while to get there. Naturally. Two of the water glasses were also dirty. Keep it classy, Amber. It was nice of him to apologize to us profusely, but we really should have taken him to the nearest pool hall, put the quarters in to get the balls, removed our footwear and socks and given him a good old-fashioned beating across the green felt, but we are nothing, if not gentlemen. He didn't pick again for a while after that, though. Let that be a lesson.

I feel like if you are here expecting radness, like a sweet older waitress with fantastic bouffant hair do and expertly applied black eyeliner who will flirt with you to the point you feel like slapping her on the ass, and you really, really wish her name was "Flo", then you're in for a treat. That said, if you are expecting anything other than white bread american food, you should turn around before you hit the parking lot. I've been here a few times, and have not been dissappointed. You just have to take this place for what it is... If you're under 60, you can expect to be possibly the youngest patron in the joint. The food is nothing fancy, but it is exactly what you'd expect from looking at the place as soon as you walk in, and it tastes good. The waitresses are friendly and attentive, and try really hard to take care of the customers and make sure they are happy. Here's how my last visit went down: I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. My companion ordered the Fish and Chips. He was asked which kind, the cod or the halibut. He asked "Which one would you get?" Her response: "Well, there is QUITE a price difference, the halibut is A LOT more." So, he asked what the difference was. She said "The halibut is 8.95, the cod is seven and a quarter." Obviously my friend is a high roller because after looking at me as if to say "Did that really just happen?" he went with the halibut. The fish and chips meal was served with a salad of iceburg/carrot mix with cheese, a grape tomato, and some croutons with slightly watered down dressing, just as I would have expected. It also came with a warm roll with plenty of little individually wrapped butter pats, and was served with mixed veggies (the frozen kind.... a mix of carrots, corn, lima beans, peas, and green beans. Just like mom used to make!) in addition to the halibut fillets (fresh from the freezer to the fryer) and the french fries. I'm kind of a fry junkie, and I give their fries a thumbs up. The fish was crispy outside and firm and flaky inside, so we were pretty glad we sprung for the halibut. Next time we might get the cod, you know, to make sure it is worth the huge difference in price. My cheeseburger was just a cheeseburger. It was on a sesame seed bun and garnished with plenty of lettuce, tomato, onion, and dill pickle slices. It even came with a little paper cuplet of mayo on the side. The patty was obviously frozen and not very well seasoned, but a little salt and pepper and I was good to go. I've also had breakfast for dinner here, and the grilled cheese. All pretty much the same story. All fantastic in their own way, and all earning "Flo" a nice tip... for both the service and for the eye-liner and hairspray fund, because I fully support her dedication to fashion.

Went here on a whim for breakfast. We frequently drive by and they always have salmon on special...For whatever reason, this made me curious. How can salmon ALWAYS be the special... I ordered the Cheese omlet w/ coffee... Now, they do not lie about this omlet having cheese... it's ridiculous!! I love cheese just as much as the next person, however, this was entirely too much!! I couldn't even taste the egg. The egg was very thin and not fluffy at all. The meal came with potatoes--not fully cooked absolutely no flavor!!! I love breakfast food, but I was very disappointed. Our server was nice, but completely unattentive. Also, on a final note...the biscuits were horrible. I feel as though b's and g's are relitively simple, but this is not the case here... TOO much baking powder and flour, I guess. Sorry Amber's, I am no longer intrigued!! =(

I ordered a hot roast beef sandwich they charged extra for the mashed potato $9 is steep and a rip off I will never go back I also had a previous bad experience there I had a cold sore the next day caused by a water glass hence why I will only use a straw now , Go to coachmans you get a full course dinner for the same price after eating at Ambers 20 years adios amigos

So my friends and I decided to try this joint and it was definitely a mistake. If it's cheap that you're after you've got it, but e ven with the low prices you still don't get food worth your money. Shitty food aside, nice friendly service and my glass was always full. So if you do go don't eat the food I guess.

I've been coming here for years. Their club sandwich, monte cristo, and fries are all ace. Other things have been hit or miss. But I stick with what works. It's packed full of seniors who like basic American food and cheap prices.

OK, nothing fancy here but I think they have the best omelets in town. You can get breakfast anytime. The staff is friendly and the service is great. I also love their homemade Alfredo sauce which I think is only on the menu on Thursdays and Saturdays.
